I recently bought a new work laptop that only had one USB-C port and multiple USB-A ports on the side for connectivity. My idea was to get a docking station to connect an external 4K monitor, wireless mouse/keyboard, wired headset, ethernet cable (better video quality for meetings than wireless) and phone charging all in one device. This dock was just what I needed at home, but I also noticed that it's very portable. I plan to take it with me when I go back to work in the near future. It also has slots for standard and micro SD cards for downloading data (which I use for my home security cameras). It offers USB-C power delivery for maximum charging times for phones that support it, as well as (3) USB 2.0 ports (mouse/keyboard) and (3) USB 3.0 ports (data transfer from hard drives, flash drives, etc.) D .). My only concern is 4K 30Hz over HDMI, but for most people this dock supports the 1080p 60Hz monitors that this dock supports.
