I recently bought a new work laptop that only had one USB-C port and multiple USB-A ports on the side for connectivity. My idea was to get a docking station to connect an external 4K monitor, wireless mouse/keyboard, wired headset, ethernet cable (better video quality for meetings than wireless) and phone charging all in one device. This dock was just what I needed at home, but I also noticed that it's very portable. I plan to take it with me when I go back to work in the near future. It also…

Short cable, works great

I use this USB hub to connect my laptop to a monitor, keyboard, headphones, selfie flashlight and two mice (although I mostly just use the ergonomic mouse). All elements are fed well and the response time is very good. Contact loading works great. Since I put my laptop on a stand to use it as a second monitor, the cable wasn't long enough to lay flat on my desk to charge my phone. So I bought a USB extension cord with cord as you can see in the picture. This was a bit tricky because the cable…

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • flimsy

Has worked normally for a week. Then VGA stopped showing the external monitor. Then external hard drives on USB ports began to be removed. Then they were no longer fully recognized. Then everything stopped working. Update: This answers that. Apple just released an update to prevent damage from such devices causing the exact problem I was having. In the end, the correct USB-C port, which I was only using for this, failed on a brand new MacbookPro that's a month old. I tried another port on the…

Pros
  • A good product for its price

Okay, could be better, one bug

The device worked well out of the box with the new Dell XPS 15. My criticism is related to the design improvement they need to make in their next version of the product and that might lead to a pause: HDMI: Place the HDMI port on the back instead of the front. HDMI cables are heavy and are rarely removed from docks. The port should be at the back so as not to clutter the table. USB: Moving HDMI to the back moves one of the USB ports to the front. This is important for laptop users (like me) who

Works well. Many ports. Nearly perfect.

Works great. Would buy again. Might get a second for a tablet. Lots of USB ports. Almost perfect 5 stars but more than 4. Charges my laptop and phone at the same time. You need a more powerful charger so that the laptop (or whatever USB device you have) gets the power it needs and the docking station gets enough power too. The nitpick problem I had is related to port marking. and cord. Wireless charging is on the side of the plastic dock. It has to be like that. Can't beat the physics. To use…

Well made set, does its job well.

I needed a USB-C hub for my Toshiba Ultra Book laptop. I wanted something with multiple USB 3.0 ports and HDMI ports to connect to a projector. What I received was this Ikling USB C Hub. The build quality is amazing, the aluminum body looks great, not flimsy at all. It has 3 USB-A 3.0 ports for fast data transfers, as well as 4 USB-A 2.0 ports for something like a wireless mouse and keyboard. It has an SD card slot and a micro SD card slot with 3.5mm audio input. It also has an Ethernet port…
