I've had a Gemini Jr for a while and my cutting insert snapped and eventually broke. I followed the directions for the sandwich, twisting and turning my cutting board with each pass through the machine, but it still cracked and snapped. I had the same problem with my original Geminis. This is a replacement in case the other cymbal cracks and breaks. I assume this will happen again as it happens to both machines. Maybe they can find a stronger material for the plates so they last a lot longer. UPDATE 1/29/20: I now use Sizzix inserts and don't even have to twist and turn the inserts in my Gemini machines. They may have already updated the Gemini tablets but I will use them until I need new ones again.
