The negative reviews are correct here. I was hoping that when folded it could be laid flat between two large heavy books, but the rug turned out to be folded four times with a large crease in the middle that would never be smoothed out. In addition, the fragile bracelet's packaging was crushed and opened, suggesting that this defective item was returned by a previous customer. Probably not suitable as a grounding mat. Apparently cheaply made and poorly packaged. Stay away.
