I recently started using a French Press for our morning coffee. I measured how much coffee to put in using the line on the cup. Some days it was good, other days it was too weak or too strong. Now I use a scale to measure (60g) and everything is fine. A bonus kitchen action I used it for was simple but effective. I needed half a box of pasta. Usually I just guess. This time I used a scale and I'm pretty sure I got the real half of the box. The scale is so easy to use it's just a joke. There's an app for my phone, but I don't care. It just works.
