I have been a photographer for over 50 years and since switching from film to digital I have unused dozens of lenses including thousands of dollars worth of Leica M-Glass. Having bought Fujifilm X cameras, I can adapt many brands of lenses through these adapters, but never thought about it. However, I realized that Fujifilm's 90mm lens, despite its excellent optical qualities, was too expensive for the small focal length used (135mm full frame equivalent). Then I remembered that my 90mm Leica M was sitting in a closet and hadn't been used in ten years. I bought this adapter for under $20, attached a lens to my Fuji, and after a few tweaks in the menu (adding focal length, red trimming, and shooting lensless with the camera) I suddenly had a quality telephoto lens for my Fuji. I wish I had done that sooner.
