Review on 🚣 Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2-Person Fishing Kayak: The Ultimate Angler's Companion! by Noel Pilla

I really, really wanted to like this kayak. It looks very nice and worked well the first time, but now after 5 or 6 uses the valves are leaking and the bottom is so deformed that it is unstable and doesn't move easily through the water. There were few negative reviews so I had high hopes but unfortunately the same problems happened to me as well. Another common problem is banging on the rod holders while paddling. After damaging my nails so badly I couldn't take it anymore, I split them and removed them. Update 7/13/2018 To Coleman's credit, they were very quick to respond to my concerns and will be replacing the kayak. I personally think the help desk is great! I've updated my review because when a new kayak does this well the first few times I have to say I love the kayak. Time will tell so I'll update this review after taking the new one 5 or 6 times and see how it holds up. I really hoped the first fall was an accident. Update 7/23/2018 Thanks again to Coleman for sending a replacement kayak quickly. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm didn't last long. After swimming through the local pond, I realized I was swinging to the right. I didn't really worry about it until I realized water was getting into the seat and I got wet. I immediately turned and paddled to shore in a very heavy kayak. After draining the water, I examined the bottom. Along the right back I found a split seam and a water source. It had to be a manufacturing defect, because I took it from home, blew it up on a beautiful lawn, and threw it into knee-deep water. I never got near the shore or other obstacles. I'm very disappointed that this second one had issues as well, but I hope Coleman sends another one and the third time is charming. I have downgraded my rating to a 2 and will withhold judgment until I receive a replacement and can properly test it again. Fingers crossed but quickly lost confidence in this product. Update 07/27/2018 Today I received a replacement kayak. As this was the second issue I had, the item was opened and tested before shipping. I really appreciated the extra effort to make sure I don't get another bad one. And I didn't, it was perfect. I cannot praise Coleman's customer service enough. Especially Hayley K. who helped me through it all to make sure I had the perfect kayak. I've come to the conclusion that my bad luck has led to some issues, but you can't go wrong with Coleman's customer service. They will make sure you are satisfied!
