I really liked this inflatable kayak

I liked this inflatable kayak. It's a solid construction with nifty rod holders and storage compartments. It's a little difficult to get around on the water, but that's to be expected. The wind tends to pick it up and throw it off course, but it's still a lot of fun and handy when you don't want to tow a shaped kayak over the roof. Rod holders get in the way when paddling and therefore more four stars than five. Make sure you also invest in a decent 12v pump with a built in gauge as it makes…

didn't last 2 months and got bad customer service

We bought this boat for our son less than 2 months ago. The boat is very well maintained. 3 weeks ago one of the chambers popped out while inflating. We use a pump to control PSI and have inflated our paddleboards then and have had no issues since. After contacting Coleman for warranty information/assistance we have had many issues since. They asked us to send specific photos, then asked us to write the incident number with a permanent marker, take a picture and send it back, then asked us to…

Not so good after warranty

As a new boat it looks very good, can be packed in a trunk, launched anywhere and the overall impression is very positive at first. I caught a lot of fish with it and gained a lot of experience as a boat owner for about a year. However, time flies. In my case, after a year, the cameras started to change shape and deflate. Now, after a year and a half, the geometry of the boat is very different from the original and I can hardly stay on the lake for more than 1 hour with properly inflated tubes.

Great durable kayak that can be made awesome!

An inflatable kayak is unparalleled in terms of quality and price. As many have said, the kayak has double walls and the inflatable part is protected by a THICK strong coating. I sailed this kayak off Lake George, 2 miles off the Malibu coast. I've launched this kayak in 4 foot waves off the coast of Malibu with no problems. Other kayaks capsized in the waves while my fully loaded kayak was completely stable. I've noticed that a lot of people have tried installing a trolling motor. I…

Portable, durable and fun for the whole family

Pros: + Super portable: easy to inflate/deflate, fits in the trunk, easy to carry as a backpack with the bag provided. + Very spacious: Easy and comfortable for me (6ft 1in, 200lbs) and my two kids (8yrs and 9yrs). + Clips and Pockets: So many attachment options for bags, pump, whistle etc. Back pockets are great for snacks and drinks + Stability: Even with two kids and a pretty strong current I never felt like we could tip over + High and dry Top: The bottom and sides are hard and high so you…

I had a Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2 person 1st gen kayak, I liked it so much I bought this new Gen 2 with some upgrades like holder bars and a new seat design. . The first generation had fans located under the floor and boat compartments for a cushion. The local new generation Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2 fishing kayak has a seat cushion that attaches to the seat, I thought that would be nice. Wrong, good idea. bad design. If anyone could fill these seats in the Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2 person…

I've had issues, but to credit Coleman the support team is excellent.

I really, really wanted to like this kayak. It looks very nice and worked well the first time, but now after 5 or 6 uses the valves are leaking and the bottom is so deformed that it is unstable and doesn't move easily through the water. There were few negative reviews so I had high hopes but unfortunately the same problems happened to me as well. Another common problem is banging on the rod holders while paddling. After damaging my nails so badly I couldn't take it anymore, I split them and…
