Review on ๐Ÿšฃ Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2-Person Fishing Kayak: The Ultimate Angler's Companion! by Jason Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Portable, durable and fun for the whole family

Pros: + Super portable: easy to inflate/deflate, fits in the trunk, easy to carry as a backpack with the bag provided. + Very spacious: Easy and comfortable for me (6ft 1in, 200lbs) and my two kids (8yrs and 9yrs). + Clips and Pockets: So many attachment options for bags, pump, whistle etc. Back pockets are great for snacks and drinks + Stability: Even with two kids and a pretty strong current I never felt like we could tip over + High and dry Top: The bottom and sides are hard and high so you stay nice and dry :) + Lightweight: Easy to carry alone with the middle handles (see picture) or front and back with the handles at each end. Cons: - Trekking: could be better, although the fin helps (don't forget to attach it BEFORE you inflate the kayak) - Documentation and instructions: were extremely general and mostly unhelpful. Lessons learned and suggestions: (o) Don't forget to attach the fin BEFORE inflating the kayak (o) Get a good pump, preferably one with a PSI gauge - a PSI gauge is included, an air pump However not. I use a Ryobi portable compressor that produces high volume on one side and high pressure on the other and uses the same battery as my drill/tools. (o) Get the longest paddles you can find, at least 96 inches, this thing is wide and tall (o) Remember to let it dry completely before putting it away for long-term storage. I always open it when I get home and leave it there. a few hours in the sun before packing it up again between trips.
