Installs exactly as directed using regular tools and some special fasteners
These worked great for mounting the LED strip brackets to my truck's windshield frame. I used an M8 grade 10 bolt, M8 grade 10 nut, M8 washer and M9 nut as spacers and 3 combination wrenches to install the inserts. 3 hands help a lot. I broke/snapped 2 weaker bolts trying to install these nuts because they are quite strong. I bought fasteners because Lowes, Home Depot, and McLendon didn't have enough nuts and bolts. They, like all gauges I've seen, don't always compress exactly axially to the exact center of the body. Plan it into your project.
