I LOVE this item! It works as advertised. This helped me solve a compatibility issue with my Kano and Asus HD computer monitor. When connected directly to my Kano, my monitor would not display an image due to a signal issue when using a direct HDMI DVI-D connection. When I connect the Kano to this device and then connect this device to a monitor, the picture is perfect and the stereo sound comes out through the 3.5mm audio jack. Surprisingly, Kano can power this device via HDMI, so you won't necessarily need a separate power connector in all cases, but your mileage may vary. I highly recommend this product.
