I've tried using this product several times but it got so annoying I just gave up and ordered something else. Here are some problems I found: 1) Even if you have a speed sensor, it still needs a GPS to get other functions (e.g. travel time, distance). With a sensor installed, one would expect the computer to rely on the sensor's information when the GPS loses lock, but that is not the case. If you lose GPS reception, the speed sensor will show you the speed but not the distance or time of movement. 2) When you turn on the computer, it may take some time to get GPS lock even if it is in an open area. Sometimes you might have to turn it on and off a few times for it to finally connect to the GPS. 3) Even after connecting to the GPS, you will lose connection from time to time. I ride the bike path along the river, which is overgrown with lots of trees, causing the computer to lose connection at least a dozen times, and sometimes more, on my average 30-mile ride. 4) If the GPS connection is lost, the computer will assume you are paused and go into "Pause" mode (with an annoying beep). Once this happens, the kilometers and driving time will no longer be counted, even if the speed sensor is still working. And this is where a well-designed firmware will fix these bugs. It would be very easy to do this by looking at the speed sensor or at the time and position before and after losing GPS connection, interpolate and calculate the missing kilometers and time. However, this computer does none of that: if you lose connection and reconnect after 3 minutes and 1 mile, it assumes you stopped for 3 minutes and then teleported a mile. 5) The battery indicator is unreliable, it can go from 2 bar to 1 bar and go out in a few minutes. Also, it doesn't seem to have a power saving mode. So if you forget to turn it off completely after a ride, you'll find that the next time you want to drive it's completely dead, even if you've only left it fully charged a couple of times. Days ago. This product may have some potential as it has a very beautiful and easy to use interface. However, the firmware is terrible and the battery is weak. Anyway, I find it too frustrating to use. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not installing it right away. Once I installed and tested it, it was too late to return it and I lost my money. I hope this review will help you avoid the same mistake: if you buy it, make sure you test it for all the points above, at least right away!
