Review on πŸ‘œ Wesco 220649: The Ultimate Lightweight Folding Capacity Solution by Todd Phillips

The extra coin is worth it.

I have owned several of these collapsible hand trucks. They were all fairly inexpensive ($40 to $65) and had a 100+ pound weight limit. But no matter what I did to ensure survivability, they broke. Sometimes the quick release would fail, the wheel would break, and the grip on the last one I had would buckle and literally snap while hauling 45 pounds. own safe. I was angry. So I went in search of the "best mousetrap". Found with this handcart! First, it's sturdy, about twice the weight of any other collapsible hand truck I've owned. But the reason is that the handles are made of STEEL and not some other, weaker alloy. The handle release seems pretty stable and solid; Reliable spring tension and positive locking mechanism. Can't test this without disassembly, but the wheels appear to be running on real bearings, not bushings. They are a little taller when folded but given that when extended I don't have to flex to use them. at the waist in an awkward position to use (I'm 6ft 0in), it doesn't bother me. In fact, when fully extended and upright, the handle sits about midway on your stomach, making it a pleasure to use. The spacious folding deck and WIDE swivel wheels feel very solid. To test this, I moved my friend's small firearms safe, which weighed about 200 pounds, and it worked perfectly; does not rock back and forth, VERY stable. Both me and my friend were impressed. Of course, only time will tell, but this product looks very well built and at twice the price of the average competitor, it's worth it in my opinion.
