This is the type of pajama shorts that Walmart sells for about $9.95 for two. I ordered them to avoid the hassle of going to the store. I was willing to pay extra for the convenience. I ordered two large sizes. Both were marked with an "L". However, when I laid them side by side, one waist was an inch and a half longer than the other. Although they were both labeled 'large', one was too tight and the other too loose. If you're willing to pay more for convenience and are lucky enough to get the exact size you actually ordered, these shorts might just be for you.
