Review on πŸ”Œ Optimized Wireless Jack System for Modems - Phonex PX-441 by Adam Hutchinson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Probably works if your phone line is static free

I bought this wireless phone jack system to replace another one from GE that didn't work at all (the latter is for PBX phones, NOT modems). ) to connect my Dish Network satellite receiver to a phone line. The Phonex PX-441 Wireless Connector System for Modems captures most caller IDs and I have been able to download help files from dish to the receiver over the phone, but I have not yet been able to establish an outgoing connection from the receiver. My phone line isn't the cleanest in the world (I've contacted AT&T several times to fix phone line problems, but unfortunately), the Phonex PX-441 wireless modem jack system isn't very reliable in noisy environments. In fact, a phone plugged into an extension jack will pick up even MORE noise. Given the wide variation in reviews from other reviewers, it's possible the product has quality issues (some work, some don't) - mine isn't reliable. .

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
