I had to update the BIOS for my b350 motherboard to recognize them, but that's not that important, it's better to update the firmware anyway. I ran them at stock clock speeds and downclocked them at reduced timings, both ran consistently, but I went with the downclocked one as it seemed to work a little better. I have a Ryzen 1500x processor which can be the bottleneck of the infinite structure to allow your rig to run better at higher clock speeds with a new generation processor and motherboard combo.
