All polished woods lose their shine over time. I wanted to spice up my kitchen cabinets and wooden furniture as they look so dull after years of use. I was concerned the polish would be greasy and leave sticky marks on the wood. Before using this polish on kitchen cabinets, I tried it on an old table and was very pleased with the results. I wiped down the table and applied a light coat of this polish with a microfiber cloth. After an hour I just rubbed it in really well and the result surprised me. There was no oily wool, which I liked. On the attached photos you can see the clear difference. If there are any shavings they will need tending, but other than that this polish is great if you want to give your old, dull wood furniture a quick shine.
