So close but back. Buyer beware.

I really wanted to like this product but here is a short and direct experience. First, customer service is virtually non-existent. The radio looks great on my 2010 Tahoe but didn't work well with my system. ABOUT THE VEHICLE: I have a Bose Premium system with separate audio controls for the second row. What didn't work: The radio wouldn't turn on above volume level 4 because it was playing music (uncomfortable). A) Levels between 1 and 2 weren't micro-adjustable, so that was more of an annoyance. B) When the second row audio controls were activated, there was an annoying hissing noise coming from the rear speakers and while driving, engine noise could be heard through the speakers. deal breaker. c) The system is a little slow to respond to Google Maps. need more memory. I ended up using the default GoNavi app, which was fine. WELL. The USB movie functions worked great with both an external hard drive and a USB stick. I couldn't try the DVD function before removing the radio. It has the ability to project movies onto a rear screen (haven't tried it) and the rear camera function (not plugged in) creates backup lines that rotate according to the steering wheel (cool feature). I do not recommend this device at all, at least from this manufacturer. I will look for another radio with more memory that is more compatible with the Bose system.
