If you are purchasing the PD18W for Nintendo Switch, please note that the Switch will not be charged by this device. You can easily use an outlet or one of the 2.4A USB Type-A sockets, but not the PD18W. The build quality is wonderful. The fan does not have an intelligent mode depending on the temperature. It seems to be on all the time even when nothing is plugged in. It's not very noticeable when the interior fans are on. Having the outlet on top and away from the USB ports was the reason I bought this unit. Would buy again.
