I've been looking at various rustic looking, over-sized clocks for our house for awhile. Some are just outlandishly expensive! I came across this one, and it's a bargain for the price (some of the ones I was evaluating were $200+). This is a great option if you want an affordable version. It's large (24 inches), is lightweight, and looks good on the wall. We have a rustic theme going on in our home, with lots of reclaimed wood and this goes perfectly in our downstairs area.The clock is nice -- very aesthetically pleasing. Brown, worn wood face with large, black metal roman numerals and hands. The clock itself is fairly quiet -- you hear a soft ticking, somewhat like white noise. If you want to get it up and operating right out of the box make sure that you have two AA batteries ready to go as this unit does not come with them.Putting this clock up is fairly easy given its large size. Since it is lightweight, it isn't as daunting of a task. I will, however, say that the anchors on the back of the clock for hanging are not aligned. One side is slightly higher than the other. So when it comes to hanging this you need to mark where you want the clock and then where each anchor is so that you can ensure it's aligned. Outside of that -- zero complaints!
