Pros: Manufactured for industrial use. Cons: It looks like an industrial one. The price varies from $125 to $488. I bought mine for $125. Actual size 3 x 12 feet, pad size 28" x 135". It has a very thick rubber top that's meant to protect from shoes, and the thick 1-inch pad (more like a 5/8) stops about 4 inches from the edges, which is only a 1/8-inch thick rubber top with a non-slip material. It helps him stay down and I don't feel like my toes get stuck under him but. That means they cut into that 1/8 inch rubber edge, so I'd say it's 50/50. It's been very handy so far and I'll update if the thing falls apart in a year or so.
