Works as advertised for TCL (and possibly Sony but haven't tried it)
Works as advertised for TCL. The reason these types of cables can be finicky is that it seems different TV manufacturers have different standards for which position on the pin is grounded. But this particular one definitely works on TCL (first hand) and based on research I think it should also work on most Sony (although you may need to switch some colors like yellow male to red female and red male to yellow). socket) but will NOT work on Samsung or LG TVs as the ground pin is in a different location.
