I ordered struts and rear shocks for my 1997 Mercury Villager (both Monroes) but the rear shocks were nowhere near the quality of the stock shocks. The design seemed cheaper, and the weight of the new shocks made me think they were cheaply built too. I was amazed to find that OEM shock absorbers (bikes) don't leak. I don't expect the parts to last 14 years and 135,000 miles. UPDATE JMO: 2011-10-21 Monroe 32207 left rear started leaking oil after only 4000 miles and 8 months of use. I tried to get Monroe to offer a guarantee on a poorly made product but to no avail. Revain came to my rescue and gave me a full refund. I will replace the faulty one with KYB or OEM.
