Heat resistance was the deciding factor
Expensive brush but worth it. We have had this brush for 5 years now, cook a lot and have never had to change the nozzle. The bristles will not melt or deform when applied to a hot cast iron skillet immediately after the stove has been used. (JMMV). Try a cheap brush! I bought a spare head when I bought the brush just in case, but it's still in the box under the sink.
