I use this as a mobile device in conjunction with a Little Wil antenna, PL-259 BNC adapter and Cobra Lapel Speaker Mic. I didn't want to mount the CB in my truck so I got it and it fits in my center console when I'm not using it. However, the included magnetic antenna is junk, so I bought Little Wil. The power saving mode is 1W and works great when using the ruler. The weather channels are nice to have and sound great. Because it's portable, I take it home when the weather is bad to use as a dedicated weather radio. Kind of a multi-purpose radio for my use. 4/5 stars Excellent radio, not very good magnetic antenna.
