The soft closing of these splints is very pleasant. while it works. I'm installing 4 drawers so I'm glad it was a 6 pack. 2 pairs of these broke the closer mechanism upon installation (4 separate rails broke the mechanism). Another pair does not use the soft-closing mechanism effectively. So I'm not very happy with my overall experience. I was able to install 2 of the 6 pairs ordered and they work perfectly which means I will be throwing away 4 pairs and had to buy different slides for the other 2 drawers.
