Sizing is right on the mark. I wear a size 9, and ordered a size 9. Fit perfect. Not tight not loose, while wearing regular socks. Foam cushion makes these even sweeter! The bottoms of these slippers have a nice non slip sole, so going down the stairs Is not an issue. No slipping. My feet also don't seem to slide around in the slipper. The fur does not fold down, it is part of the ankle to the slipper. The slipper itself feels like a padded microfiber material. The entire inside of the slipper is lined with that same fur you see around the ankle of the slipper. A very comfortable slipper for around the house for sure! I would definitely recommend these and the price is right!
