Review on π° Twist-On RV Water Pump Strainer Filter, 1/2 Inch Pipe Strainer Replacement Compatible with WFCO or Shurflo Pumps by Shaylon Bateson
I like the design but the threads are too small
I haven't installed it yet but I assembled it in order of installation. When manually screwing the filter into a threaded PVC elbow, the 1/2" filter threads seem too small. They don't look like NPT (tapered). - Look for the style of fitting, which can be) short story, it will satisfy my needs by sticking a thread tape on it and it's not critical maintenance, a little drip won't be a problem.By the way I'm a pipe fitter by trade. ;The thread is listed as NPSM but straight, unlike the ( in the USA) more common NPT tapered pipe threads. The thread pitch looks the same. ATTENTION!
