Review on 🔌 Streamlight Remote Door Switch Assembly by David Dober

I received this remote controlled door/switch in new condition and in the original packaging. First, using a 1/8" punch or smaller, I removed the stainless steel pin holding the battery door on my Streamlight TLR-1. I put that aside and saved it for later, in case I wanted to use the flashlight on my gun again. I then held the removed door/switch in place and reinserted the pin. I then closed the door and plugged the remote control panel plug into the remote control door socket I had just installed. With this remote controlled door, I also have a permanent option by sliding a lever with my index finger. This door seals the battery compartment well to ensure watertightness and prevent the battery from getting wet This is not my first floor/switch/light combo that I'm buying and it won't be my last. I am very pleased with the excellent build quality offered by the Streamlight as well as the reasonable price and overall value. I didn't notice any disadvantages compared to my light/remote switch with the Surefire Scout. This quality door is exactly what I wanted and expected from Streamlight and I am very happy with it.
