I received this remote controlled door/switch in new condition and in the original packaging. First, using a 1/8" punch or smaller, I removed the stainless steel pin holding the battery door on my Streamlight TLR-1. I put that aside and saved it for later, in case I wanted to use the flashlight on my gun again. I then held the removed door/switch in place and reinserted the pin. This worked right out of the box with no issues other than replacing the door. Minus 1 star for being too cheap to include a small piece of paper with instructions on how to remove the door and no installation instructions (let alone a video) on the Streamlight website.
