I just got a new tail from Petsmart. A day after I put her in a new tank I noticed she wasn't as active anymore. She got a little worse and I tried fungal pills and when that didn't help I tried an antibacterial pill. I always read what could be wrong. Then I realized I didn't believe she was going to the bathroom. She looked like she could die at any moment. After 6-8 hours, after putting a few drops in the water, she moved more. Then the next day she was fine again. This product saved my fish! Yes, it smells funny, but most drugs smell!
