Review on Gorilla Gripper 44010 Panel Carrier by Michael Lucas

, I am a general renovator and do a lot of work with sheet material (e.g. plywood, drywall, cement board, etc.). I bought Gorilla Gripper for the same reasons as all other reviewers. Hope to make your life easier. Now I rarely use it. Why (?), mainly because it is cumbersome, Finnish and I do not entrust him with anything heavy or several sheets. Pick it up with one hand and hold it until you get where you want it. I'm a big guy and after using it for a while I didn't think about lifting anything other than say 1 sheet of 1/2" plywood. either on your foot or on the floor 3- Once you release the pressure (even for a split second), everything you are carrying will fall, hopefully not from the top of the stairs or onto your foot 4 - To grab, he squeezes the product, the heavier the plate, the more it compresses. Not so good for finished products.It may even have dimples on it.5- It often takes a few seconds to get the grip right and every time you release the pressure you have to squeeze the plate again.I'm done with that to complain. I love this concept but it just doesn't work for me, it's kind of a special issue. For those of you who don't have a really functional record holder, go for the troll. It lifts from the bottom (not the top ), it has wheels, u nd you only lift it from the hips, with a straight arm, with no curls and only when you have to. The rest of the time just roll the product. I (alone) have no problem moving 2-12 foot slabs of 1/2 inch rock safely.
