I added my own 1/4 x 28" grocery hose so I can fill the coffee maker and refill water bottles without moving the water jug. Pros: Left button: has multiple factory time settings (e.g. 1.5 = around 45 seconds which is perfect for filling my Mr. Coffee 12 maker) Right button: press to start the pump and set the timer from 0 As I fill my water bottles, I know to stop (press the button again) as soon as the timer hits 17, and it fills up perfectly every time. The price is so low that I bought a second one. Stay charged forever! After a month without charging it showed 98% full when I finally charged it. Cons: When using a hose it is recommended to hold the end of the hose above the waterline with a clothespin as this will sometimes set off a siphon (albeit a slow siphon). This only happens when using the optional hose.
