Reliable! My toddler is active and only wears crocodile shoes. She constantly walks in them on the street. They've held up amazingly well. The dinosaur doesn't get off, even with her pecking. he will stay They've survived backyards, NYC hikes, NYC hiking areas (moderate trails), and fishing. They're pretty easy to clean with a baby wipe, but I recommend using an old toothbrush and some Dawn if you want them super clean. They don't seem to get dirty either.
