You can bevel and polish marble and granite yourself!

Good quality brake pads and pad. You can find videos on how to use it on YouTube. If you can work on wood with a disc sander, you can polish stone. The same principle. I only had to polish a few centimeters around the edge and the pads look like new. Amazing results and saved money by doing it myself (including the cut I made with a diamond blade on a table saw). You can also use them to repair chips and scratches.
