The whole reason I bought this was because the slated on my bedframe were not giving my mattress the support I wanted. I wanted full pieces of wood to close the slates, and ordering this bunkie BOARD seemed a lot easier than trying to makeshift something with boards from homedepot (which would take more time and money than it's worth if you can just order it online.) Well these are just slats! I don't understand the purpose of this bunkie board if it has slats, the whole point of this is to make your mattress firmer and for that you need a board. Otherwise whatever slats you have are going to be similar.
