There's a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy to use. Warning: gets HOT very quickly. It comes with a small stand so make sure you use that or you'll burn your counter like I did! I have medium length, thick hair that usually keeps curls for about an hour. I apply some hairspray and my curls even hold up pretty well for days! They're sluggish at the end of the day/next day, but just a quick touch and they're like new.
