This ribbon and control module has many functions. I like the timer features the most - the ability to set multiple functions and timers makes them so valuable it's just insane. Install it and forget about it if you use them for home lighting like I did. WiFi is quick and easy to set up. The lighting color options are obviously endless, but the effects leave a lot to be desired if you're trying to go crazy. For example, the strobe could be faster and the lack of a chase effect is surprising. However, I don't intend to use these settings often. One strip was perfect and the other's adhesive strip seemed to be peeling off every few feet, which was annoying. Also, a small area didn't show the correct color (the blue connection was missing). Luckily I have a soldering iron and I replaced a small section. Unless you have a soldering iron I'm not sure how to connect the light strips into one continuous line, so keep that in mind. However, you can still connect two strips to the same power supply and run them in opposite directions. The adhesive seems strong even after you have to adjust a few strips.
