Review on 🐞 IAP Performance AC903900EC: Enhanced 60 Amp Alternator Kit for VW Beetle by Brody Jacobs

This is an unnamed Chinese alternator that gives a good and stable 14 volt charge (unlike the alternator I replaced). The generator stand is cast aluminum and could be better but still works. The oil filler pipe is not screwed in with the crankcase ventilation hole pointing upwards. Consequently, I had to lengthen the vent hose and screw it to the VW fan shroud with a small vent filter. If this is not done or if the oil breather is not used, oil will drip onto the engine case.
