I have a small kitchen with limited counter space so this table comes in handy when I need extra work space. I like that the height is adjustable. I get arthritis and dizziness so often that it's hard for me to stand for long periods of time, so I adjust the table so I can sit in front of it and cook - chop, dice, etc. I raise the table a bit. upstairs and put it by the sink and the outlet and put my slow cooker on top. Perfect for that! I recommend putting a non-slip coating underneath when placing a slow cooker or other utensil on it as it has a semi-gloss finish. When my slow cooker quickly came out of 3dge, I found that the rubberized liner sold at Revain worked well. The color of granite suits any interior. And talk about hard! WOW! It is well built and supports the legs well. I also use it as a serving utensil and place it next to my small kitchen table and dining table to place the food I'm serving on it for easy access to the food. I have used it in my living room as a TV tray for eating and watching TV, a laptop desk, a table for writing cards, receipts, etc. After using it, I fold it up and store it in my closet, it folds almost completely and takes up almost no space! I may order another one because they are very helpful. I can use the second one upstairs or in the laundry room to fold laundry. I highly recommend this little gem! Worth the price.
