Works as advertised

This dew shield works. I recently started my equipment setup around 8:30 pm PST on an unusually warm night (90°F+) in northern CA. I ended my session around 2:30 am as temperatures dropped some 25°F and the dew point was 66°F. I was starting to get considerable amounts of condensation on my gear but the Astromania dew shield kept the meniscus on my Mak-Cas dew free. I am very satisfied with it's performance!

Pros

Simple design that works very well on my Orion Apex 127mm Mak. Highly recommend this dew shield.

Cons

The price point is higher than other dew shields on the market
