The switch looks like an average quality for a third-party product. It's not as good as Made in America so maybe buy more if they don't last too long? The first time I connected the wires wrong I removed the wires and found that the second time around they went a lot looser so they weren't designed for that. I still managed to get it to work reliably. I think you get what you pay for. IMPORTANT: This is a 3 gang single capacitor switch (wiring: position 1 = wire #1, 2 = 2, 3 = 3) so it will not work with a dual capacitor. Fan (resulting in strange behavior such as 2 very low speeds and one high speed or idle speeds). Open the fan housing to see the power switch and all wiring. Most of the wires going to your current switch will connect to a capacitor (of various shapes) at the other end. Look at the markings on the capacitor to determine if it has one or two capacitors (hopefully it has a diagram that shows one or two capacitor symbols - parallel lines with numbers, usually in units of µF or microfarads). It would be nice if they added a photo of the packaging so you can identify it before ordering. ;)
