I'm glad I bought it. I have two and they are perfect. These tables are ideal as side tables next to a sofa or armchair. But I got them to use as trays. The C shape allows the base to slide under the sofa and the shelf part to slide over the cushion. They're too short to hit your knees unless you have a low sofa. For me they are exactly what I was looking for. I was a bit suspicious of the review that mentioned it was wobbly. It's not like that at all. The table has adjustable legs to solve the problem of uneven floors. The table is very strong. The instructions say you will need a drill to assemble it, but I assembled it using the hex key that was provided. Finally, all parts, including an extra pair of screws, are packed in a bag marked "Extra". This is a great little table.
