This product is a real headscratcher. First off, it doesn't allow you to customize feeding times at all. It doesn't have a clock! All this product really is is a timer attached to a spring-loaded feeding dish. I'm not joking. Every time you fill the bowls, you have to wind the mechanism like an old-timey pocketwatch. Then when the timer goes off, the spring releases and the bowls rotate. It's clunky and--if I had decided to keep it longer--will inevitably break.Furthermore, the feeder gives you the ability to feed your pet up to five times in one day. But because you can't actually customize what time food comes out, you're left doing some mental math to figure out how often you want the thing to rotate in any given day. I ordered this thing because I wanted to feed my cat five meals strategically spaced out during the day (so she doesn't bother me) and during the night (so she doesn't wake up me or my wife). So if you wanted to feed your cat five times in one day, that's. 4 hours and 48 minutes.
