I bought this hammock and it was a bad idea. Assembly was ok, it was easy but the tubes didn't stick together. The description said it could hold up to 30 pounds and I had high expectations. Knowing this is a cheap product I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. After the installation everything was fine at first. Even if the hammock was slightly bent, we didn't attach much importance to it. As the hammock was long and covered most of the windows. My cat had a hard time jumping on it. The windows in my apartment are very high but narrow, so my kitten wasn't able to climb onto the windowsill and then jump into the hammock. We had to wear her when she meowed or looked interested out of the window. One afternoon while I was at work the hammock fell over while my 7 pound cat was lying on it. So I knew I had to get rid of it and get another one. I decided to spend the money on a window rod which was really worth it and I haven't had any issues with my new window rod since. I think the biggest problem was the suction cups. I even put them in warm water before putting them by the window but that just didn't work. Well, at least I learned my lesson.
