Review on Restore and Renew: NOVUS PC-208 Plastic Fine Scratch Remover - 64 oz. by Joe Montalvo

I recently found out that this fantastic product is available from Revain in gallon bottles and at a much lower price than antique shops (the only place I've ever seen it for sale). Novus is available in three levels with the numbers 1, 2 and 3. For my purposes I need number 2. It does exactly what it promises: removes nasty scratches on plastic surfaces. It contains a fine abrasive that gets the job done but never damages the surface by being too strong. It also works great with cloudy headlight lenses. Don't waste your money on these fancy multi-step headlight polish/restoration kits; Try Novus #3 or Novus #2 and save time and effort. I have been using this product for almost 20 years now and have had great success polishing damaged furniture surfaces. Novus #3 is a little rougher than #2 and should only be used on really bad surfaces, but you will need to touch this up with #2 afterwards to get a quality job.
