Installation wasn't easy! The mounting bracket is too big for the fan housing so you will have to bend it to fit. The fan, on the other hand, feels weak, like it's about to break. If you are hoping to install a switch to turn on the light more easily, instead of looking for the remote control in the dark, it will change the color of the light every time you turn it on and off. Even if you don't install a switch, you still have to adjust the light every time the power goes out. Also, you cannot change the direction of the fan. The slowly rotating diffuser is quite steep, but the direction of rotation is random. I'm not a big fan.
