Errors in the early stages result in an unreliable connection.

This router is one of the simplest configurations I've come across. Choose your SSID, channel, encryption password and you're done. Unfortunately, I was only fine for 10 days. Suddenly I noticed that there was no connection. I thought it was my internet connection and thought it was night time. The next morning everything worked as promised. After a few days, not only did I lose my internet connection, I also regularly lost the connection to my router. It took several attempts to connect to the router and even then the router would not connect to the internet. I bypassed the router and found that my internal connection is fine. There just aren't many configurable settings to change, so after 2 hours and I still can't get online (my internet service is 100% dynamic), I went to the club's local warehouse and bought a top of the line Belkin . Now I have no problem. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. When I have some free time I might plug it back in and try to fix the problem. As long as it's a paperweight.

Pros
  • Firewall: NAT and SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection), intrusion detection including logging;
Cons
  • Out of fashion
