Review on ALZO Extender Required Fixtures Recessed by Jay Meza

I have some lamps with CFL sockets that are too deep. The base of the CFL is too wide and the threaded portion does not screw deep enough to make electrical contact. These extension cords are almost perfect for getting the old bulbs to work with the new bulbs. The extension cord plugs into the lamp socket and allows the use of CFLs. However, I encountered two small problems. First, the CFL now sticks out further than it should have covered the lampshade, allowing part of the bulb to be seen. Second, these extension cords also don't allow the use of three-way lightbulbs, which is what I wanted to use with them. I'm glad I can now use CFLs in lamps, but disappointed that I can only use single intensity versions. This is an improvement but not a complete solution for my use case.
