I bought this gauge because it is highly rated, it's made in the USA, it doesn't require batteries, and it's very reasonably priced. I'm very glad I did. There is a small collar around the air intake, almost like a fountain, that helps align the device so it fits snugly against the tire valve. This makes pressure measurement much easier. I have an old gauge that doesn't have that collar around the air intake. Sometimes I had to fiddle and lose air before I could properly install it on the valve to get a good pressure reading. Goodbye, old sensor. Everyone should have this sensor. There's really no good reason not to do it.
